Tonight, August 20th, is the opening of the Breaking Bad Art Project at Gallery1988 Melrose. I am a huge fan of the show and it was a lot of fun thinking of what to do for the show. I ended up going with a Walter White version of the old Wooly Willy game since the character seemed to have so many hair issues over the seasons. The piece is actually functional! I added a few pics of my attempts to draw haircuts on him below.
Prisma Collective‘s group show, “Blood”, opens this Saturday the 18th at WWA in Los Angeles. It’s one of two small shows we are opening in preparation of our big show in San Diego in early 2013. Come by and say hi (we’re in the project room) and stay tuned for “Milk” opening this fall in the UK!
This year, Gallery1988‘s annual Crazy 4 Cult show is being held at a pop up gallery in New York. The show opens Thursday, August 9th and promises to be an insane collection as ever. I did a giant Zig Zag cover with the Dude. The original is 20×30″! Prints available here.
