Move over rover…

Thursday, January 26th, 2012

Wow! Spoke Art released a small edition of the Jimi vs. the MPC piece and it sold out before I had a chance to even post about it. I was stuck in airport limbo on my way back from Baton Rouge, but I hope everyone that was interested got a chance to get one. If you were wondering, the original is still available through Distinction Art. Just search for “Jimi”! Stay tuned for another print release and a solo show with Spoke later this spring.

Kissy Kitty

Tuesday, January 10th, 2012

Soooo, here is my piece for the upcoming Adult Swim themed show at Gallery1988 Melrose. I’m a huge fan of “Tim& Eric’s Awesome Show, Great Job” and although there is endless material to work with in every tiny episode, my favorite image has always been the two kittens tounging each other in the show’s opening credits sequence. The exhibition opens this Friday, January 13th and it’s going to be amazing. Prints are available here!

Surreal Salon IV

Tuesday, January 10th, 2012

I was fortunate enough to be asked to act as juror for this years Surreal Salon, on view now at the Baton Rouge Gallery. The annual “exhibition will feature the work of over 50 contemporary artists from across the country, engaging audiences in a multi-sensory art experience and shedding light on the growing popularity and exceptional quality of the pop-surrealist movement.”

If you can’t make it to the show, you can view the catalog virtually right here!
