Surreal Salon IV

It’s an honor to announce that I’ve been asked to be the guest juror for the forth annual Surreal Salon exhibition at the Baton Rouge Gallery Center for Contemporary Art. There is an open call to all artists out there who would like to submit there work. All mediums are welcome, but the deadline is November 17th. My piece for the Old School Video Game” show opening at Gallery1988 tomorrow, September 16th in Venice. I chose my favorite Atari classic “Combat” and gave it a bit of a different context.

One of my favorite Pixie songs is Caribou, and for the Pixie tribute show Dig for Fire, opening September 9th at the C.A.V.E. Gallery in Venice, I used Caribou as the inspiration for the painting. Prints now available here. REEEPPEEEAAANNNT!

Upcoming Shows

Just a quick mention of a few upcoming shows that I’ll have a piece or two in. This Friday, September 9th, is the opening for Dig For Fire, a Pixies inspired collection at the Cave Gallery in Venice. October 7th is the opening for I Want My Music Video Art Show at the Meltdown Gallery in Hollywood. The next day the Monstoberfest show opens at Rothick Art Haus in Anehiem. GO!
