I have a new solo show at Trifecta Gallery in Las Vegas! I’ll be posting pics here, but go check out their site for all of the info. Also check out Edith Lebeau’s show in the attachment gallery!

The Lyric show, curated by the amazing Glenn Barr, opened last week in Detroit’s 323 East gallery. The show has a selection of amazing artists who created work based off of some of their favorite music. My piece was inspired by the track “Jonny Appleseed” by Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros. The image is also being released as a super limited edition print through 1xRun with only 30 available for a limited time.

It’s an older piece, but it will be on display at the Flower Pepper gallery in Pasadena, CA. “Bears” is a collection of all of the storybook bears I could think of from my youth. It is part of the “Tale of Two Legs Standing” show opening April 14th!
Art Whino‘s G40 show in Richmond, Virginia, is a massive collection of all kinds of amazing art. The Weapons of Mass Change exhibit has us artists painting actual weapons. I chose to do a couple of grenade, as well as two of the most dangerous weapons, steak and bologna.
It’s been a busy couple of months and I’ve been lagging on the news section here, let’s try to catch up eh?
First off, although the show has already passed, here is my piece for the 2nd annual “Is This Thing On?” show at Gallery1988. The show is dedicated to comedic talents, and I chose Howard and Kulap from the hilarious podcast, “Who Charted?“. It’s one of my favs. If you are not listening to it, you should. It will make your day.

I had the opportunity to produce the cover, and several spot illustrations for the literary magazine Normal School. There was a loose theme of the relationship we have with our fathers. Although my own relationship with my pops is aces, I went a little dark with it. Full cover, and a few of the b&w spots below… (more…)

A short Q&A with Juxtapoz!

In an effort to make a little more room in my tiny studio I am selling some of my older pieces and illustration work in the store section. Take a looksy, see if anything catches your eye…
